Hello there everyone...
I search to see if I find a solution to my A/C issue.. well if I start the truck and turn the A/C on it will blow hot untill I start to drive, then if I get to a light and I stay there too long it will start to get warm.??? while driving it's cold as can be.. I just got the system vacummed and refilled...?? What gives here ? anyone had this? what was the fix...thanks all.

 

This is normal. The air moving over the condensor helps cool off the hot gas in the tubes. Just like your radiator. Is your fan clutch working properly?

 

I wouldn't call that normal. In a properly working system, there should be very little change in system performance when stopping.

I'd guess it's either improperly charged, has a clutch fault, inadequate airflow through the condensor (fan clutch, dirty condensor/radiator), or there is a restriction in the high side of the system (condensor or O-tube).

I'm going to bring it back to see what they say about this.. they did add the dye so I have to go back anyways.. to check. I wanted to know if it's something that maybe the system or something else that needs to get taken care os as it did not work like this before...
thanks for the input if anyone else thinks of something let me know.. I want to know all I can before I bring it back.. so they don't try and hit me with something else just to charge more... nowhatimean ;-)
