Flame Grilles - Effect on A/C and Engine Temp

I’ve been seeing a lot of these chrome flame grilles on trucks lately, and with it being such a long hot summer, has me thinking; are these guys running hot and having poor performing A/C? I can’t imagine either be working anywhere near the vehicles designed cooling capabilities. I haven’t measured total surface area blocked, but I’m guessing about 50%. I’ve saw cars that run hot when the little black air dam under the radiator support was missing and negatively affected A/C and operating temp.
