HELP!!!!! AC Problems -on vacation

Help, I am on vacation in California and my A.C. stopped working.
I have a 1997 F150 (new bodystyle) and the ac and heater stays at the same heat. I can change the settings but I can't change the heat and cold control. I had brought the truck into Ford last October and they changed the heater core and the box I think is called the Actuater? Anyways, It's 108 degrees here and I gotta figure this out! Thanks, Jason

Sounds like the temp. comtrol rheostat **** is cracked on the backside or the rheostat is bad. Pull the **** off and check the center part where the shaft goes. This area is prone to cracks. If all is ok there, and the **** is very loose or very easy to turn, sounds like the rheostat may be bad. 20 minute fix and 20 dollars for the part. Do it yourself.
