Do NOT charge your A/C from the high side using a can or manifold gauges.

The fitting you're looking for is on the accumulator. Passenger's side of the truck, underneath the alternator megafuse. If whatever you're using won't connect to this fitting, stop. You've got the wrong charging equipment or something. If you're using an AutoPepBoysAdvanceZone recharging kit, the fitting should only fit the low side. Do not under any circumstances attempt to charge from the high side without a charging station like an A/C shop would have.

The fitting is typically behind the block of relays that is mounted in front of the accumulator. move the black metal frame with the elec. stuff in it to aid your access to the proper port. They make the service ports two diffrent sizes just so you won't connect up to the wrong side by accident. general rule of thumb is that the smaller size hose and fitting are high pressure side, larger diameter hose and fitting are low pressure.
