Dripping lines on passenger floor...

I have been having a very small amount of water dripping from the lines under the dash on the passenger side of the truck, and this has occured regardless of whether the AC has ben on or off during operation of the vehicle. Any ideas, or should I be concerned?

That was where the heater core was on all my previous vehicles, a drip into the interior from under the pass. side dash was a blown heater core. I do not however know where they are located on a ford truck. sorry ..... if i'm of no help...

If the water is clear, it sounds like the drain tube for the evaporator/heater core housing is clogged. If it smells like anti-freeze, it is probably your heater core leaking.

I suspected the heater core, so I will have to look at this again.

Oh yeah, If it is the heater core, and you are going to have it replaced by someone other than you, get ready to get off a wad of cash. Dealer wanted about $800.00 to R&R.

Question leaking hvac

hey I have the same problem with my 03 ford. leaking water into the floorboard. took it to the dealer and they said the drain tube was plugged from mudding. solved part of the problem. still leaks under the carpet. they cant find where it leaks from so i pulled the plug out of the door channel on the passenger side. no more water under the carpet>>>
