Question Speed Controlled Electric Fans?

I like the Troyer dual fan setup. The one side for the engine when it gets hot and the other for the a/c when it is on.
My question is out here in AZ the A/C is on all the time. So when I get on the highway would it be better when
the fan is OFF? Highway speeds are 75mph so we do 80mph. Seems like a fan on might block the airflow.

Anyone know of a cool mod to turn off the fan when going over 60? (a automatic switch as opposed to a manul switch in the cab)

In Theory

You attach a thermostat to the condenser to control fan operation in the A/C mode.

I would think a 120F cut-in with a 110F cut-out would work, you would have to experement some though.

OR you could add a secondary low pressure switch to turn the fan on when the low pressure went above 60psi

I am in So. Cal and run the A/C constantly. I have mikes set up and the fan running has caused no problems. It actually has made the A/C a little more effecent as it seems to cool down the cab a little quicker. I like everything about the kit except the way it attaches to the Rad. not a big deal, just wish it didn't use the rods through the rad. The twin controllers is a huge plus over the other kits available.
