Any more advice, im stumped
Hey, i know i posted already, but do you all have anymore advice as to my problem.? I have a 99 f150 sc. 2wd. I get a faint to moderate smell of what I think is coolant...when i turn on the heater. I cannot find any leaks anywhere and the windows dont fog or anything. My coolant doesnt drop in level either. After a few seconds either i cant smell it anymore or im use to it i dont know.....anyway some one told me it could be the core sweating and that might be why i get a quik smell of the sweet stuff...any other suggestions would be cool cause I sure cant find a leak...and like i said, the windows dont fog up....any more advice is welcomed.
A) Your heater core CANNOT sweat antifreeze in any way, shape, or form.
B) Your symptoms sound like an extremely small heater core leak. At that mileage (previously posted), it will certainly get bigger and be easier to diagnose.

Check that crossover tube above the #4 plug or look for any other small coolant leak under the hood. A pressure tester is a good friend for this job.
If it leaks, it will drip onto something hot and you will get a short blast of coolant steam that is sucked directly into the cabin air inlet in the cowling.
