A/C compressor replacement question

putting a new comprssor in my truck... old one leaked from front seal.

The new compressor says to measure the amt of oil from the old comprssor and add that much back into the new one... but if the old one is leaking then how much oil do I need?

Do I add the oil directly to the compressor or add it in wth the freon?

Also... trying to save some cash. Called ford and they said the compressor on my truck is the same as on the mustang... only the clutch is a diff part number. the mustang part was cheaper so i got the mustang one (saved $60 at autozone)

the mustang compressor came with a clutch... the clutch _LOOKS_ diff from the one in my truck but has the same size pulley and electrical connection... any harm in using the mustang clutch on the truck?

thanks,
Sal
