Help picking a new head unit

I'm in the Apple ecosystem and thought the AppRadio would be perfect for me, turns out it's not what I was looking for. I was wondering if someone can recommend me a decent radio that has bluetooth, an aux port, and iPhone ready, maybe SirusXM as well.

I don't use a double din like I should, if that makes since, could be because using the GPS with AppRadio sucks in my opinon. I just want to be able to listen to music, and if needed just plug my iPhone into the aux port or stream to bluetooth with. If I could do that, then SirusXM isn't really needed as I can just iheartradio as it has the main station's I enjoy. Another thing is, I don't listen to CD's so having a CD slot isn't really needed.

I've liked a few of these:

As for my stereo set up, I'm looking at running some JL speakers with cross overs, an amp and maybe a sub. As for my music preference, it's EDM/House MUsic (ie: deadmau5, tiesto, krewella, etc).

I had the AVH-P6300BT up until yesterday. I bought a new AVH-X5500BHS, and I'll tell you why. I love the 8 band equalizer with 2 custom slots. I usually run one for rap/hip hop and the second for rock/country. The audio controls like sub controls and eq along with ease of use to change any setting in the system is why i go with the touch screens. I love the Ability to play DVDs. Keeps any passengers occupied on long trips. Using pandora is as easy as plugging in your phone to the USB port. All functions are on the screen, so it's plug and forget. I also added the Siriusxm tuner to it. With this model, it's just one box and antenna needed. Not 2 adapters like it used to be. As far as appradio, I don't use the maps either, but in a pinch, it's nice having it. Not to mention the plethora of other apps ranging from radar detector apps(with hardware) to web browsers to other map apps. And (unofficially) you can jailbreak your iPhone and basically use any app. I think you would love the built in mixtrax feature that mixes each song into the next using effects (based on your music preference). But this is all my opinion. I love music and demand performance, and pioneer gives me everything I need.

As far as connectivity, of course Bluetooth, USB (which also charges your phone), and aux in. I never use the aux in with my iPhone. I just bought a second charging cable and use the USB so I can do whatever I want without having to touch my phone.

The only downside in my opinion is that all of your ports (aux, USB) are on the rear of the unit. It does, however, come with a 3 to 4 ft USB extension cable so you can rout it somewhere for easy access. I ran mine to the slide out dash cup holder in my '02. All you need is a long enough auxiliary cable to route from the back of the unit to the front. Also, there is no SD card slot on the 5500, but I can live without my music videos or put them on a thumb drive.

All in all, I love pioneer's products. They work and they last. If you really don't want to pay for all of the bells and whistles, any of their regular CD players with USB and aux in would suffice, but I love playing around with the features.
