Something wrong with Stock Head Unit

Well every since I bought the truck I've been wanting to listen to my ipod/pandora or whatever besides the radio and CDs... I've bought several different ones that output radio frequencies but they NEVER work. I go to the specific channels they are setup for or do a different one and it plays real quiet with a lot of static. I've bought everything from the 20$ ones to the 120$ ones that output RFs.

Is there something that I'm missing here? I have a trip coming up and I'd like to listen to something other than NPR or local stations.

What station are they set to. Always thought that you could pick your station to tune to.

I know the sirus radio stuff you choose the station to tune to. If you dont hard wire it to radio.

ipods needs a actually input,,, usb perferably. Pandora is only internet. If you have the stock

radio you dont have an input. I know they make fm transmitters that you can connect to

ipods,,, but i thought they had a choice on the fm station you picked it up on.

Yeah that's exactly what I'm saying... they have ones you can put an audio jack into or hook directly up to the device... Every station, AM or FM, I switch it to it doesn't work(static and very low volume). Everyone of the products I bought work in every vehicle I have tried but my F150.

I'm pretty set on buying a JVC Arsenal and hooking it up soon(early Christmas gift)

This is a good question. Do you have steering wheel controls? I am wanting to upgrade my radio but I don't want to loose those features.
