I've been reading about head units all morning and prompted this question: I have the 2010 OEM HU, non NAV, No Sony. I have SYNC, bluetooth, steering wheel controls, AUX IN and USB, Sirrius Sat.

Simple Question: Is there a HU on the market that is plug and play without having to buy all the extra modules to retain the factory options. Harnesses aren't that bad, but all the modules are expensive.

 

If it were me, I would call Crutchfield and ask them. They are great to deal with on tech questions!

 

I don't believe there are any. I had seen some ads from Visteon that said they had one coming out, but I can not find anyplace that sells it or info as to whether it even ever came out. Although there are tons of HU that replicate the functions of sync, you will still have to add a module for steering wheel controls. I decided against changing the radio and just decided to add a sound processor, amps, and new speakers and keep the factory radio.
