I was wondering if there would be a problem installing an Audiophile HU from a 02 F250 in an 08 F150? I don't think that there will be any issues but I would like to ask before I buy something. Thanks!

 

yes. the plugs are completely different as is the way the head unit mounts. Also, the audiophile has different crossovers for the speakers to compensate for the sub that it had in the system, which you dont have. The result - too much work and it will probably sound like crap without the sub. Why do you want an 8 year old headunit anyway?

 

Actually I meant to say that it was an 08, not an 02. That would have made it a little easier and more precise. I actually figured out something that works. I ended up finding a Shaker 500 out of an 08 Mustang that was too cheap to pass up. It works perfectly except the illumination does not work. I have to figure that one out. If you know anything about that it would surely help out. Thanks for the reply!
