Shaker 500 installed

I got my shaker 500 (brand new take out of a 2007 mustang) and man does it really sound good! I didnt realize it but my truck had the audiophile set up. It had all 3 plug ins into the HU but the guy who owned the truck before me took out the rear speakers and factory sub (wiring is all still there).

Anyway I took out my HU and stuck that in and man HUGE difference. With all the after market HU's i've ran Id say this pushes speakers as good as any of them (although you'd really need an amp to push the speakers to their potental). My Polk 5x7s never sounded so good. Saleen Rockford is on the way again off ebay and should be here for a next weekend install. Anyone that wants awesome sound with keeping a stock look I'd highly recommend a shaker 500! I got it for 100 off ebay although I'm sure you can get them for less even

Shaker

Hey its me again, I got a shaker too a while back. But the nimrod I bought it from shipped it in an empty box. No packing material to protect it. When it arived the box was all torn up. The Radio worked but no CD function at all. It did crank ! With the Saleen sub it sounded great . I had to get a refund from the guy. Now I would like something with the 7 inch screen. But Im going to have to wait. I just bought the rims and tires.

i went from stock to shaker 500 to avic z2.

The shaker did push the speakers hard, harder then my avic. However i think once i stick a couple amps in there i will be fine lol.

Yea with all the after market decks I've had, this stock HU pushes speakers harder then any of them have. However headunits with amps are a whole different game.

I tried to do this with a shaker 500 out of a 07 Mustang and it sounded like crap. It wasn't getting any bass to my Rockford Saleen Sub either. It should be a simple plug and play correct? Any suggestions?
