Is a 2008 F-150 radio/cd head unit a direct replacement for the one in my 2006 F-150?

 

You may need an antenna adapter, it was in 06 or 07 they changed the antenna size.

But if it is cheap I would do it, otherwise another unit may just randomly flake out on you. Stock units are never the best source of tunes, but they do come with it.
