Yes, another AUX IN thread.

I want to play my old Zune & wife's iPod through my F150's radio.

I have purchased 2 parts and I need to know what goes in the middle of the two.

This is the rear of the headunit:

This is the "input" tray:

What am I missing? Will a simple wire harness from the tray input to the rear of the HU be the only thing I need? And then just use a 3.5mm to 3.5mm cable?

Please

You need more than a 3.5mm cable. They do not hook directly into the wiring harness.

You need a PIE adaptor or a iSimple harness. Those will havea 3.5mm connection and will plug into the harness. You can then take the 3.5mm connection and wire it into the tray. Another idea, if you have a center console, is to run a cable to the center console and then store your Zune/iPod in the center console (away from prying eyes). That is what I did.
