Getting to the Speedo Cable?

Something I neglected when I initially installed my Z110BT was the speedometer cable connection. I want to look into it now and was wondering how to get access to it.

Is it an electric speedo (VSS)? Does anyone know how I can get access to it so I can tap into it with the wire provided with the HU?

Truck year is '07. Thanks!

Connect the pink wire to the black/grey wire in the factory wire harness. Pick your method, cut and cap, put a pin on in use an empty location, clamp it, whatever.

I didn't realize the speedo cable goes into the factory wiring harness. I thought I would have to rip the dash apart or get up underneath my steering wheel somewhere. That makes it much easier. Thanks, man, I'll take a look at it tomorrow.

Thanks! I'll also do it. What is the use of the speedo to the HU?
