Bought a Nav. Head unit

Well, for the first time in probably 10+ years, I have found myself feeling like a teenager with my first aftermarket car stereo I just bought a (used like new) Pioneer Avic F700BT. Got a good deal on it, and ordered all things needed to install, plus the pioneer iPod cable. The previous owner is sending the XM module with it as well. I have already researched the bypass so that all Nav functions are available while driving. So, is there anything tricky that I should know about installing these things? I am (or used to be) fairly good at hooking up and installing head units, as they are pretty simple to do, but I already feel a little overwhelmed by all the functions this thing has. Thanks a ton.
