Hey there guys, figured I'd just post this all at once. Got some goodies for xmas and my birthday this past week... these include: Pioneer DEH5100UB head unit, Pioneer TS-D802p door speakers, and a Pioneer GM-6400F amp. Installed them yesterday with my buddy and the help of a case of good ole Natty light. Install went pretty smooth with few minor errors. Overall I love it. The sound is great, amazing clarity and good power from the amp. I'll be getting door speakers for the rear mighty soon, and a sub/amp in the next few months. Enjoy

Mounted the amp and a little splitter with digital reading under the rear seats after putting a piece of plywood into the seats to be drilled into.

Let me know what you think

Looks great. Not to be critical at all, but thought I'd offer a few suggestions. I just installed the Pioneer 4100 single din in my brothers 08.
After my first install I had similar things I see in your pictures. First, even though its not the same finish as the dash kit, I used the Pioneer trim piece instead of the dash kit trim piece since its molded to the curves of the Pioneer faceplate (gives it a much cleaner look with no gaps).
Second, even though the dash kit doesn't tell you to use them, I used the provided plastic spacers on the screw holes (place them behind the kits holes) to bring the front of the dash kit out to the same level as the dash surround. This will eliminate that gap you can see in your first picture. It will then be all tight and clean.
Like I said, not trying to be critical at all, just ran into that same exact look and thought I'd offer some advice on how to eliminate it if you want. Should only take a few minutes to do it. Let me know if you have any questions about it.
