Stock HU

Alright well I have my stock 6cd change head unit in my truck. And I have been having problems with it playing cd's. Mostly copied/download cd's. I use to drive a lot so I have a lot of cd's that were burnt back in the day before I got this truck and they play fine in it as well as new cd's. But any cd that I download now will not play in it for some reason. Always get an error message with them. Yes I am finalizing the cd's after coping.

Whats weird is these cd's will play in any other vehicle that I have tried ( not been able to try in another f 150). Any one else having this problem?
Could it be my head unit doesn't like this brand of cd's.

Well turns out it only likes one certain brand of rewriteable cd's. Now they work.

I sold mine to my buddy and he's experiencing the same deal. What kind of cd's does it like?

Mine likes the office max disc, and the office depot disc also. Some memorex (sp?) will work.

But it will absolutely NOT play sony brand disc.
