Im interested in answers to this as well. I want to get the Kenwood Excelon DNX8120. I researched the P4100 for quite a while before deciding against it. Italiano, have you played with one yet? I was not thrilled about the user interface and didnt like that the clock is always in 24hr mode. My suggestion would be to go to the Pioneer website and look for one of their authorized online vendors. Those are the only places that prvoide the warranty from the manufacturer.

PS - I am probably going to spend the extra coin and order from Crutchfield. Atleast that way I know Im getting a true NIB item with warranty, as well as the extra they give for free in installation tools and directions.

Not entirely sure, but isn't that Kenwood in a total different price league? I also believe you but find it hard to believe that the clock cannot be put into 12hr mode. From what I have read about it, it has a decent interface and graphics as well as the nice slider feature to scroll.

Guess I have some more research to do.

So they sold you the wrong parts instead of telling you that it was out of stock? Sounds kinda stupid if you ask me...

Pioneer 4100 is available at Best Buy...

Big Red "One"...

I would also recommend Crutchfields. They always provide excellent service as well as competitive pricing.

Take a look.
