Error message on nav screen

I posted this on another thread on this site which may have been the wrong site. My problen is that sometimes I get a message on the nav screen that tells me that the disc can't be read or maybe dirty. My question is how do I remove the disc for the nav sytem from the unit ? This stuff is all new to me so any help would be appreciated greatly.

Access to Nav Disk

Press the 'Menu' button on your Head Unit, then use 'Info' (or 'System', can't remember which it is, son has the truck right now) touchscreen tab, and in the bottom right corner of the screen there is a spot to touch to access the navigation dvd. This will move the motorized screen down and reveal the Nav DVD slot, and will spit out the DVD. You can clean and reinstall to see if that helps.
