Hi i'm new to the site and i'm looking for some help. I have a 97 F-150 and i just bought a factory stereo with cd player from a 98+ f-150 from craigslist and the wires on the back are different. I keep reading that the 98+ is a little different from 97. Is there any way to adapt my trucks wiring harness to fit this newer cd player in?

If you have two different pigtails coming out of your truck you will need this special harness.. its part F85B 29A170. I can't find it anywhere online but thats what it says. I can send a picture to you if you need it since I can't reference this harness

It shouldnt be different. Should just be plug and play...
