I swear guys searching did me more harm then good here. As did asking question from suppliers.

I am trying to get an aux in for my 05 King Ranch. I have the 6 disc in dash with MP3. I do not have an external changer, Sat, or Rear DVD. When I open that top compartment it does say RSE ready or something.

I am looing at purchasing a PIE X3 to run a dedicated 3.5mm to my XM unit and an alternate 3.5 for a stray ipod or my shuffle.

I was told that this unit needs to have one of these external modules to make it work? But I don't really "get it"

Can someone please advise.

As I understand it this will absolutely work? But I lose the ability to add rear seat dvd or the 2nd 3.5m correct?
