AVH-P4000 or DDX512, few questions

I'm looking for a new head unit and I'm finally about ready to pull the trigger. I've been doing A LOT of searching lately on here and around the internet and I've pretty much narrowed my choice down between the Pioneer AVH P4000DVD and the Kenwood DDX512. I basically want a clean crisp display and a good ipod interface, and the ability to add a backup camera and an amp/subs later on. That being said, which one is going to be better.. or which one do you guys prefer? I'm also up for suggestions on other units as long as I can find one for around $400-$450.

I was planning on ordering from sonicelectronix, and both of the units come with a free wiring harness and mounting kit. Are these good, or do I need to look for better ones?

Last question, what is a good relatively cheap backup camera? I found some license plate bracket types for around $100 but is there anything I should be aware of? I'm pretty sure with the wiring harness I can install the head unit myself, but I'm not sure about the backup camera. Are they very difficult to install?

Sorry guys I know it's a lot of questions but I just want to make sure I don't run into any surprises down the road.

Thanks for the input. I was already starting to lean towards the Kenwood because the Pioneer's interface just looks a little dated to me.

Anybody else?
