probably a dumb question about the D3

I know im a bit behind the curve having just got a D3 about a month ago... my funds arent keeping up with the mod bug too well. I Never connected the speedo wire (pink/black?) and the rev. sens. wire (grey?). I cant say I tried hard to find them while i was doing the install, but where the heck are they? It comes with like 10' of wire, so i take it they are far away? I looked under the colum but couldnt find anything in that jumbled mess of wire under there...sorry for the dumb question, just figured i ought to finish the wiring one day..

VSS wire is the Pink one and that goes to Grey/Black in Pin 14 on the main radio harness.

Reverse is a Purple/White and that goes to a Black/Pink low in the DKP.

How you liking your D3? I have one sitting right beside me (have had it for about 2 months now) just waiting to get the truck back form the shop and get it installed. Did you do the video bypass?

I haven't installed the VSS wire in my car and I've never had a problem with it.

I bet you don't get your vehicle dyanmics/meters display though.

FX4life, the backup sens. is really only needed if you've got a backup cam. It senses the reverse being initiated to bring up your rear cam.
