Amp to HU Remote Hook-up

I know i'm making this a lot more difficult than it is, but here goes....

I'm trying to install an aftermarket amp into a 2002 F150 FX4. I've got an aftermarket HU, so the RCA's plug right in, but I'm confused about where the remote wire hooks up to.

I was looking at the wiring diagram/info on Installdr.com and it says:

I Amplifier Turn On- Do Not Use For This Vehicle
J Power Antenna Turn On- Do Not Use For This Vehicle
*Neither of these wires are even there in the wiring harness, so I dont know where to hook up the remote to.*

Should I splice it into a different wire or what?
Anyone that can help would be appreciated!

Means that those particular wires are of no use for the vehicle, but the aftermarket amp does use it. The wire you are going to hook up is the Blue/white wire for amp turn on.. If for some reason you don't have that wire, use the red ACC wire, the amp will be on whenever the car is on but the radio HU off though.. with the blue/white the amp will be on only when the HU is on

for some reason in my truck, my remote turn on didnt work, so i spliced it to the ignition switch, be sure to have your truck runnin while listening to music, otherwise of course your battery will drain pretty quickly
