What's everybodys opinion on factory refurbs? Good or bad? I'm thinking about buying a Kenwodd 6019 from onlinecarstereo and love the price on the refurb units.

 

if you think its a good enough deal, and they will back it up with a little warranty, maybe. at all the refurbed stuff i have ever looked at, the price difference just wasn't enough to make me buy it. i guess its just feeling secure about buyign a new one i guss.

 

the way i look at refurbs is ... if the thing is busted and they won't warentee it... how much would it cost me to buy another refurb compared to buying a new one in the first place... i.e. product A new is 50 bucks... where as product A refrub is 30.... i'd take the refurb... but if product A was 45 refurbed... i'd buy the new one.... make sense? thats just my own little world of reasoning when i go to buy stuff.

Refurbs are great as long as they carry a warranty. Some have full factory warranties, the same as new ones. Just look into that.
