They make a kit for the Expeditions. Just pick that up, install the radio into it, then just open the hole big enough to fit.

What do you mean a kit for expeditions? like a mounting kit? you got a link?

Do all DDin touchscreens fit like this in the old body style or is it just this specific model?

The true name for the size in the the Heritage Bodies is "Oversized". NO DD's will fit true.

MET 95-5026 (This kit is for the 2003-2007 Ford Expeditions) Ive made it work a few times. But it all depends on how you cut...

You still have to cut everything out in order for it to fit. There is no easy way. The rest was just figiting around to make it pretty. The deck comes with a mounting kit too, doesnt mean it magiclly fits into the hole. The only reason it was a pain for me was because it was my first time installing a deck.

But hey, maybe im wrong, take a few pics if i am.

True you still have to cut it out but it makes it much easier to get it in and out of the dash. Plus the kit secures it.

It should take about 15-20 min to cut out the dash and mount it up. (with a dremel)
