the female part is the metra harness 70-5520 the male part is the 71-5520

One other thing I learned about harnesses: The Scosche FDK11B is the preferred harness for matching up to the Metra 71-5520-1.

While the Metra 70-5520 looks sturdier and has heavier guage wires than the Scosche FDK11B, it only has speaker and power wires. None of the other leads used by the factory HU (such as mute, speed sensitive volume, etc.) are there. These additional leads ARE present in the Metra 71-5520-1. Wierd, but it does take two brands of harness to accomplish a complete in-line interface without cutting factory wires.
