Pioneer AVIC-D3

Is this a good deal?

I've been waiting for the prices to start droping but I just don't know enough about GPS units.

Thanks IDNC76. Is it a good unit to buy or is it a waste of money? I'm looking for a good stereo to replace my factory one, plus GPS navigation.

Thanks.

It's a great head unit, I can show you how it looks installed if you want. The GPS is pretty decent, the only downside is you have to keep the disc in the entire time.. You'll (i'm guessing) want to buy an iPod adapter which it is fully compatible with, my iPod just stays in the glove compartment. Everything is controlled on the touch screen. Any more Q's just post, also the same if you want pics.

Thanks...could you post some pics? Also, do you know if the Sirius sattelite I have will work with the unit (came with the truck)?

No. Thats a direct box for the Fords. You will need the SIR-PNR2 and your factory Sirius subscription WILL carry over.
