My brother likes my audiophile 6 CD/Sirius system that came with my 2008 F 150.....is there some way to put something like that in his 2006 F 250?
Would the dealership be the place to look? He really wants the factory Sirius setup and not the seperate small tuner that hooks up with some kind of adapter plug to the back of his HU.

After much investigation went with a unit from Crutchfield - Alpine CDA 9886 with sattelite connect.
Now, for some new speakers.

I've actually been debating the 9885 and the 9886... can you give a review on that 9886? there are literally NONE online.

The seem to be very similar decks - I just like the all black look of the 9886 better.

Have you used the ipod attachment?
Can you adjust the treble/bass? I've heard that some of the new alpines with imprint don't allow you to adjust the treble/bass without hooking up to imprint.

Any info/pics would be awesome... no one has provided any info about these at all!

broox, this is a Xmas gift and we're waiting for the Sirius adapter for the unit which is back-ordered. Once my brother installs and offers his review I'll get back. It was explained to me the "86" has a better read-out on the unit face, etc. etc.

 

I bought the 9886, it rules. I highly recommend it.
