Power output varies considerably by model and year of production. There's no generalized answer (like 20 watts per channel) as Ford head units are made by several different manufacturers (Delphi, Pioneer & Sony). The "premium" stereos offer more power than the rock bottom AF/FM or single CD models. The single CD models offer better sound quality and lower noise ratio than the 6 CD models.

I've tested dozens of head units on the bench over the years. If I were to put an average output for the "premium" level units, the 2004/2005 models are in the 18-22 watts per channel range. The 2006 era are about 25-28 watts and 2007 models are in the 35 watts per channel class.

For sound quality, the single CD units get my vote. For raw power, the 6CD "premium" and "Audiophile" level units are hard to beat.
