OEM radio problems

hey everyone,

i'm having some problems with my OEM radio. its the 6 disk MP3 deck. everytime i put a cd i just burned in, or when its cold outside (below 50 degrees) the CD player will skip constantly. or it will try to play a track, then eject the disk and say "bad disk"

is anyone els having this problem?

one last question, my radio also has and aux mode, but i dont have the female input, its the cable that runs from the back of the deck just a male female audio jack? or its it a female end with a harness to hook into the deck?

any help would be great! thanks guys!

I'm having the same thing on my 05. Are you running the heater? Mine works fine for about an hour then starts skipping and ulitimately elects the CD as a bad disk. Yesterday I felt the HU and it seems really hot as were the CDs. I was running the heater on floor/vent. When the unit cooled off a little it played fine.

Could be a heat issue? Anybody seen this before?

Also had a problem with burned mp3 CDs sometimes skipping. I had to set my computer to record at a slower speed (4X) which fixed that problem.

The aux on the Audiophile unit is for the overhead entertainment unit.
You can purchase a adapter to connect your i-pod to the radio.
