I tried to install my Pioneer DEH-490IB into my 91 F150 and the speakers dont work! I have the harness hooked up ive double and triple checked it and whenever i put the stock head unit back in they work! and no they are not the stock speakers they are Infinity 6022Is. I dont know what to do or where to go and i dont really want to spend 80 getting it put in when i already paid that to get it put in my accord that i had and pulled it out of! Help?! please? much appreciated!

i bit the bullet and tried to get it installed cause i looked and the plastic around the radio mount was ********D. That, and I also did not have the dash kit :/ silly me. Whenever he had it in and all that stuff he goes wait a sec.....the speakers dont work! and i was like WTF?!@? trying to play it off so they sent it off to pioneer to fix free of charge! Should have done that in the first place and saved money :/ oh well! 6-8 weeks without a radio in the truck cause they wired it so i cant use the stock radio! ><

 

Not true. You can still wire up your stocker.
