Pre outs, Factory radio
Hey fellow forders,
Ok here is my question.
Is there a plug that I can plug into my stock radio to get pre-outs to hook up to an amplifier? I have a 2004 lariat stock 6 cd changer.
Now I know I could get these adapters that are plugged into the rear speakers and use the hi input on an amplifier. But I want to avoid doing this. I was at an electronics warehouse called AVAD and while waiting for a pickup I was browsing there huge catalog and found what looked like something that plugged into the back of the stock radio and gave me a set of pre-outs, not inputs. The description stated not F-150 but Ford radios and years. Next time I have to go there I'll try to get a part number and such.
Has anyone ever heard of this?
