in-dash screen

Hey yall, I have a question for yall about some recomendations.. this is what I'm looking for:

an in-dash screen with navigation, dvd, satelite ready, and ipod ready. I would like the screen to fit in fat where the stock radio would come out so there is no wasted space around it or anything.

I dont want one of those fold out jobs, just an in-dash screen.

what do yall think?

Or a Kenwood dNX7100. I researched most units and this one seems to have the best value for the price. I'm really considering picking one up this week.

Only thing with the Alpine is you have to purchase navi seperate in the form of the Blackbird II. The Kenwood has built in navi, as does the Pioneer D3 and a couple of Eclipse models.

Eclipse, double-din unit fits nicely in the F150. You need to buy the separate box for iPod and XM, but nav is there already. AVN6610 is the latest, but if you're okay with last year's model (like I have), you can get the AVN660 from Crutchfield for $1300... which will be cheaper than an W205 + Blackbird.

If you're not worried about having the traffic feature (in my area it just says everything's jammed all the time anyways) then go with the eclipse avn-5510. I bought mine for a little over 800 including the ipod adaptor off ebay. Install is pretty straight forward and it's an awesome unit.

The kenwood is also very nice. Alpine is nice but a little pricey

Ive read that you just need to ground the e-brake line to the frame in order to allow DVD playback while driving. (you know for the passengers and stuff)

Has anyone been succsesful with this, specifically on the KENWOOD DNX7100

Do you want a hard drive nav. or one that uses discs? I would recommend a hard drive system since that's what I have, but I don't know anything about the navigation that uses dvds. Anyone who has a system like that can chime in and shed some light on the disc systems.

DNX7100 is a hard drive based system..........Which is what i want, i dont want to have to load a DVD everytime i want directions. That way you can keep a DVD with music or movies on it in the player and still use the Navigation

As one of the first, if not the first one here to get the W205 and the BB200...I would say go with the W205 and BB.

Remember it can do something that no one else can...it can go with you.

The BB only has a 3.5 battery life but it can be used for GeoCaching too. Not to mention a second car mount and power cord.

Not sure about the other nav's they are all pretty good, but I wouldn't change mine for anything....I enjoy the 3D fly through views it offers.

I cannot get the traffic to work....don't care, its always busy.
