if it is what does that mean. when i connected the bypass to it i cut the end off that had the little connector on it when just used butt connectors to crimp the bypass wire to that amp out wire could that have anyhitng to do wiht it

Alpine is the only way to fix that... Sorry. If you need an amp turn on. Wire remote to your main ign wire... Or you can run a relay off of the one behind the radio.
