Thumbs up KD-NX5000 is 1 bad*** unit!!!

Just installed the JVC KD-NX5000, and man is this thing AWSOME! Wasn't sure where to post this thread as this unit does everything except drive the truck. It's gps works beautifully and easily, even though it is not touch screen. Same for the bluetooth, voice dial w/ the push of a button on the remote. DVD function looks and sounds great! Has cd, dvd, navigation, bluetooth, ipod capable, mp3, 24gb hardrive for storage of around 6000 songs, rear view cam (haven't gottin 1 yet), all this and Sirius too! Sound quality is surprisingly good. Hope these pics come up.[IMG][/IMG] I have more and better photos of this in my gallery if anyone is interested. https://www.f150online.com/galleries...cfm?gnum=10239

how is the sirius radio reception. i have the jvc ar870 and the reception is pretty bad. i get alot of drop outs. im not sure if its the jvc sirius tuner or the headunit is causing the bad reception on my end.

I always have a strong signal as well as good reception with this unit. This is the 2nd JVC Sirius unit I have had in the last 2 years and have never had an issue. I replaced a JVC KD-LH 850 with the KD-NX 5000. Sounds like you have an antenna problem or antenna connection issue. Is your sirius a plug n play, or is it an intagrated head unit w/ a sirius receiver?
