gotta problem after installing an avic d3

I recently installed a new avic d3. Everything worked fine until about 3 weeks into using it. I noticed the rear speaker channel sounded muffled. I tried fading the stereo to the rear only, and sure enough it was. Almost as if my highs went bad (factor speakers). So I double checked the wiring, and everything looked good. I also swapped the rear wires to the front speakers to see if i could duplicate the problem. And of course not, it sounded fine. I'm not sure what could have happened. I also metered out the wires. Nothing is shorted to ground, and all speakers read roughly 4 ohms. I used a crutchfield wiring harness, and there is no factory sub. I also tried to install some new speakers to see if that would solve the problem, but no dice.

anyone have any ideas???

could have blown them out. My factory ones in my excursion went bad after putting my Kenwood Excellon in. They were sounding pretty good with all the other radios before. (I'm always pulling and selling the headunits) Now they are just good mid bass drivers...lol Pretty good power jump between your factory headunit and your D3. Some speakers just "go"
