Please, anyone with knowledge of Ford factory stereos , please check out my post in the Lightning section under 2004 stereo in a 2001. Any help with this is greatly appreciated.

 

you should just need to make a harness for it. I can pull up wiring diagrams for 03 and 04 radios that should get you covered....

what radio did you have and are you going to.

01- MP3? CD changer? etc....

04- MP3? Rear entertainment? etc....

 

Its the factory 6 CD head, no mp3.

 

okay thats the new one, whats the old one thats coming out? So i know so i can give you the correct diagram. B.c you have one you are taking out, and those wires are on your truck etc....

 

The one I'm removing is the factory 2001 Lightning cassatte with the factory 6 CD changer behing the pass seat.
