Have been lurking on this site for a year....finally asking a question (of course it's stupid!). Have read lots of posts about replacing the factory HU, but if you do, are the steering wheel controls disabled? Gig' em Ags!

 

As long as you make sure you can get a pac swi module your steering wheels controls will still work.
