I have 07 KR. When I start the truck and the sirius radio is on sometime the cd will run through all six slots while the sirius radio is playing. The dealer installed a new cd player and it still does it sometime. Anybody have a similar problem?

 

I had the exact same problem in my 07 XLT, although I don't have Sirius. The CD player would do that stuff about half the time no matter what. Then it would start playing at disc 1 track 1, instead of from where it last left off.

Dealer was not surprised. They get a couple of these in every week. They ordered me a reconditioned unit, and it works fine.

same here as well, just havent had the time to take it in. probably going to buy a new HU anyway.

 

I don't know how to tell if I have a KR or not but I do have similar problems. I've had the unit changed out by the dealer and still does it. I not only have the shuffling issue but it won't play most MP3 disc. These are disc that my 1997 ford had no problems playing. I can take the disc out and put it in my 68 VW bug and they play. My VW has a disc player I bought at Wal-Mart for roughly $100. I put them into my brand new F-150 and the screen reads "bad disc" and ejects them. Well, sometimes it ejects them, other times it starts a song and then skips around a bit then restarts the same song.

 

Update: My reconditioned HU just started doing this. I've only had it a couple of weeks. It doesn't do it all the time, and when it does it just goes back to track 1 of the current CD, not the first CD like it did before. I know it's going to do this when I sart the truck and the radio plays instead of the CD where I left it. Very annoying problem.
