Any pics fo the sirius display on a Factpry NAV HU ?

anyone have a pic of what the Sirius display looks like on a factory NAV unit ?

I am curious as to what it shows on the display as far as detail, how it is presented, etc.

thanks

Just took this. Is this what you wanted to see? Did you want to see other settings?

I just picked up my 07 w/ Nav & Sat. Do you, or anyone, know if there is a way to hook in an IPOD where the text will appear on the Nav screen and you can control the IPOD from the steering controls?

I would think there would be a way to hook it into the "Line In" with display similar to the entertainment system for the rear seats.

At this time, I know of no one that has what you (we) are looking for. Yes you can connect your iPod to the line in and listen to the audio but you have to control it from the iPod. I have contacted several companies about this and all have said they are working on a solution. The problem is, this new Nav radio is an all in one unit. The only way to get the iPod to be controlled from the radio's dispaly is if you disconnect the satellite radio and go in through that way. This is what they are working on. Once they figure this out, then you can add a relay and switch to toggle back and forth between the iPod and satellite radio. I have gotten as far as to be able to display the iPod on the radio screen but was only able to control the selection of next or previous track through the static buttons on the side of the radio. Could not use any of the screen touch controls. You would think since this Nav radio is used in all of Ford's 2007 cars and has been out since September of last year, that someone would have come up with a kit. Guess people are not making enought noise about it. I certainly have. I have contacted every company that makes these kits and keep bugging them every month.

Do you have a picture of what you were saying about displaying the iPod on the screen? How did you do this?

Also, is it just me or do the factory speakers sound like S***? This is my first Ford and I didn't check out the audio until after I bought it. I haven't messed with the audio in my cars in almost 15 years, is there a way to upgrade the speakers/amp without replacing the factory HU?

I do not have a picture of what the iPod looks like on the Nav screen. I sent back the iPod interface kit that was supposed to work and didn't.
