I need help exchanging out a Ford 6-Disc CD player for the single disc player that came with my truck. Are there any diagrams, instructions, etc. out there that could help me?

Thanks in advance!

they are simply plug and play

unbolt your old unit and unplug it, then plug in the new unit and bolt it back in
do a search and youll get plenty of threads on how to get the radio out.

Fabian,

How do I get the front dash piece off, so I can detach the old radio and plug in the new one?

Use something like a putty knife to slip up under the trim at the bottom corners and pry it out. Then work your way up and it will pop-off. It seems tight at first. After a dozen times, it gets sloppy loose...

Unsnap the plug to the airbag light at the top, and the trim will drop down out of the way to unbolt the radio. Pretty easy once you know how.

I agree, except for the putty knife part.

pull your cupholder so that its fully out, and grasp the lower end of the radio peice and slowly start to pull towards you, the bottom clips will snap off and then slowly work your way up, being extra carefull where the radio bezel gets thin (around radio sides) once its all off, like T described, disconnect the airbag light and your good to go.
