i cant figure out how to get the extra info on the songs? like artist, song, album..... or can you not see that info?? in the maual its says you can by pressing 6, but that just changes the the "6" setting. i would like to know who i am listening to.

also has anyone changed to xm and replaced where the sirius antenna was with the xm antenna?? is it easy or possible to do? i just love my XM more, but got 6months of sirius with the truck.

I'm going to lurk around your post, just in case I am wrong, but I think you/we have too early a version of the head unit. I have the same problem. I can tell whether it is blues, country, rock, etc., but no text information. Same goes for the FM radio. BTW, I also have a 2006 with the 6 CD in-dash changer and six months of Sirius that came with the truck. I hope I am wrong, and we can both get the text feature working.

 

you can see the info, but you have to scroll to it, song by song ..

use the up down arrows next to the CD slot .. it will scroll through all the sirius info .. channel, type, artist, title, etc ..

and, as far as I have been able to tell .. there is no way to change the default info that is displayed ..
