I would like to know if this HU is any good before I buy it, I like the fact that it has 31RMS watts per channel. That way I don't need another amp behind my backseat.

I'm not familiar with that particular HU, but it is CEA compliant. I do know Panasonic doesn't have a big following in the car audio community. That doesn't mean they are not good quality.

IMO, nothing beats an amp. I would just look for a HU that has good processing and then get amp(s) to power your system, but I know that's not for everyone.
