Aux. input with Sirius

Can I hookup my Sirius sportster to my aux input with RCA cables on my Stock HU. I have an 05 Scab XLT with the single disk cd. I currently just use the FM signal wire but would like to hard wire it in if possible. I would like to add an amp as well if there is an easy way to do this.

As far as I know you need to buy a P.I.E adaptor that lets you plug into the AUX jack on the rear of the HU.

Should be able to but they're not cheap, in the $70-$90 range.

So if you have a P.I.E adaptor hooked up the the aux button, then when you press the aux button it will switch over to the sirius receiver, and you can still control it from the seperate receiver? Does that sound right?

I have my Siruis hooked up to my head unit with PIE. The volume is controlled from the truck's head unit. All functions of the satellite radio are controlled from teh Sirius head unitor the Sirius remote. The sound is very good, much better than fm modulation.

Where can I find a PIE Adapter for a good price? Also, how did you connect the wires together, any instructions would be very very helpful. Thanks.

This is a link for one source. They may not be the cheapest, but they do offer a good price. This unit is specific to the new body Fords. Everything plugs right in. Verify the application is correct before you order.

This may be a little off topic but what else would the aux. input be used for. Is there a way for me to hook my ipod to it?
