Is there way to hoo0kup Cellphone mute to Audiophile?

I just got a smoothtalker cellphone car kit. Is there a way to connect the phone to the radio mute circuit so the radio goes into mute when ring is activated?

I just installed the Parrot CK3100 handsfree kit. I ordered the handfree kit harness that Ford sells from here: http://www.fastpartsnetwork.com

Part number I ordered was 4L2Z-19A393-AA, it had the mute wire and the line inputs. Worked GREAT!!!. Hope this helps.

Thanks for reply. Looked up part nmbr and they sure don't say much about it. Any chance you can send pdf of instructions so I can get clue about the harness?

I got a Smoothtalker harwire kit because my phone isn't bluethooth ready.

I do not have a PDF of instructions, but all it does is plug into the radio, then the harness from the truck plugs into this harness, and the harness has power, ground, mute, and line level inputs. There is a picture here: https://www.f150online.com/galleries...862&anum=10035 Hope this helps.

That's a clean install, I like where the controls are mounted but I plan on keeping the cell phone unmounted. If you're going to go with a setup like that why not save a few bucks and put in a wired unit?
