Kudos to Crutchfield

My older son and I installed my new Pioneer DEH-3700mp tuner and
GEX-P930 XM tuner in my SuperCab today. Ordered the set up from Crutchfields and it arrived in 4 days. The XM's sound quality is a hyper leap in quality from the FM modulated SkyFi unit. I wanted a mild set up that retained my factory speakers for now and that is exactly what I got. The tuner puts out enough volume to fill the cab and has enough tone and clarity to suit me.

Installation was a snap because Crutchfield's instructions were clear and concise. Dealing with them has been a pleasure, especially since the same configuration from a local shop was considerably more expensive.

Kudos to Crutchfields from a satisfied customer.

Call me a relic, call me what you will. Say I'm old fashioned, say I'm over the hill. Today's music ain't got the same soul,
I LOVE THAT OLD TIME ROCK AND ROLL.

With these new HU's and speakers everything sounds good. Wait till you get ready to change out those stock speakers. I probably shouldnt bust your bubble, but there are places online with alottttt better prices. I bought the 6700 for 50 dollars cheaper brand new from another online dealer. Crutchfield does have great customer service though. Nice job

You can't beat Crutchfields instructions and they give you everything you need. Pioneer has direct fit speakers for your truck. I bought 4 Pioneer TS-6880R's from Crutchfields and the instructions and everything was a snap. My F150 door panels were the easiest I ever had to remove and reinstall.

We finally got around to installing new speakers and it was as easy you described it. I went w/6880's for both front and rear and the improvement in sound quality is phenomenal. I listened to 2 other installs, both were in 150's, before buying and they sounded good to me. These speakers are a great balance of sound quailty and cost. I am very pleased w/the sound quality improvement and the ease of installation. Thanks for the information.

You couldv'e bought the same products for the same or less money at any retail store.

Had that day, and had someone to go back to if you encountered a question or problem.

Uhhhh, that's what I did. I got the speakers at Wally World for 1/2 price and installed them using directions I found on this forum.

HU from Crutchfields (NO 9.25% sales tax and free shipping, arrived in two days) and speakers from Wally World; it worked for me. As always, YRMV.
