I have the Alpine CDA-9855 with a PERIPHIAL aftermarket steering wheel interface. It works good and its programmable to change what the two audio control buttons on your steering wheel do. Took me about an hour to hook it up.

The 9855 claims to be compatible with OEM steering wheel controls. Are you saying you have to buy a seperate piece for it. If so approx. how much did that run you?

Also, somewhat off topic but has to do with the 9855. Does it have RCA input or is that a seperate add on you have to purchase as well? Reasoning behind these questions is I think I'm getting one soon.
